Start

Morgen is het zover: de start van het nieuwe schooljaar in Moldavië. In veel families worden vandaag de laatste schoolspullen gekocht, overhemdjes gestreken, schoenen gepoetst, etc. Iedereen wil er op zn best uitzien morgen om 8 uur. We hopen op een goed (online-vrij) jaar. Laten we bidden voor wijsheid en geduld voor alle leerkrachten en voor goede leerresultaten van de kinderen.

Tomorrow is the start of the new school year here. In many families today the last school supplies are bought, shirts are ironed, shoes are polished, etc. Everyone wants to look their best tomorrow at 8 o'clock. We hope for a good (online-free) year. Let us pray for wisdom and patience for all teachers and for good school results for the children.

93 zegeningen / 93 blessings

Afgelopen zondag was het druk in de kerk in Lozova en in Vorniceni. Heel veel kinderen waren met hun ouders gekomen en woonden de dienst bij zodat na afloop ze een rugzak met schoolspullen konden ontvangen. Zowel in Lozova als in Vorniceni zijn er zo'n 45 kinderen blij gemaakt. Totaal zijn er 93 rugzakken uitgedeeld. Tijdens de dienst werden alle ouders aangemoedigd, om zelf God serieus te nemen in hun leven zodat ook hun kinderen, hun goede voorbeeld kunnen volgen. Leer een kind van jongs af aan de juiste weg, en het zal er niet van afwijken wanneer het oud geworden is. (Spreuken 22:6). We bidden dat nog vele families in Vorniceni en in Lozova de Heer persoonlijk zullen leren kennen.

Last Sunday it was busy in the church in Lozova and in Vorniceni. Many children had come with their parents and attended the service so that afterwards they could receive a backpack with school supplies. In Lozova 48 children received a backpack and in Vorniceni 45 kids. In total, 93 backpacks were distributed. During the service all parents were encouraged to take God seriously in their lives so that their children can follow their good example. Teach a child the right way from an early age, and he will not deviate from it when he grows old. (Proverbs 22:6). We pray that many more families in Vorniceni and in Lozova will get to know the Lord personally.

School supplies / Schoolspullen

Another 3 weeks and than kids in Moldova will go back to school. Some are excited to go, others do not bother too much. Coming Sunday we plan to have in the morning a special evangelism at the church in Lozova and in the afternoon at the church in Vorniceni. All children who need a backpack with school supplies are most welcome to come with their parents and join the church service. At the end of the service all the children who came will receive a filled backpack. Please pray that the Word that will be shared, will be heard and will change lives.

Nog zo'n 3 weken en dan gaan de kinderen in Moldavië weer naar school. Sommigen zien ernaar uit om te gaan, anderen geven er niet om. Komende zondag is er 's morgens een speciale evangelisatie bijeenkomst in de kerk in Lozova en 's middags in de kerk in Vorniceni. Alle kinderen die een rugzak met schoolspullen nodig hebben, kunnen samen met hun ouders komen en krijgen dan aan het eind van de dienst een gevulde rugzak. Graag vragen we om jullie gebed voor de bijeenkomsten en dat het Woord dat gesproken zal worden, gehoord zal worden en levens zal veranderen.
