Church service in Lozova

So far we do not have permission to build in Lozova. Tomorrow morning Spiridon is planning to go one more time to the major in Lozova to talk about signing the papers, please pray with us that God will soften the heart of the major and that he will put his signature.

Een GROTE zegen / A BIG blessing

Afgelopen weekend kregen we bezoek uit Duitsland en ze brachten een heel mooi en groot kado mee: een nieuwe bus! We zijn er super blij mee en we hopen dat de bus een heel lang leven zal hebben en ons trouw zal dienen! We danken de Heer en iedereen die dit mogelijk heeft gemaakt!

Last weekend we had visitors from Germany and they brought a very nice and big present for us: a new bus! We are very excited and we hope that the bus will have a long life and will serve us faithfully! We thank the Lord and all of those who made this possible!

Serving

Yesterday one of the fellowship/ Biblestudy groups from Lozova, served with a program in the church in the village Panasesti. It was good to see how seriously they had prepared their poems, songs, Bible readings. After receiving and being blessed week after week, it was time for this group to be a blessing for others and with Gods help they did a great job! The church in Panasesti enjoyed the presented program and there was even some applause;) May God continue to work in and through the Lozova-people!

Fun in Huzum

Today was a day many children in Huzum waited for impatiently! At the Day Centre it was time for the toy shop! All the children had collected points in the last two months and now it was time to exchange the points for toys. There was a big collection of toys and depending on how many points children had, how many toys they were able to buy. Of course, there was a lot of excitement and happiness and we pray that the children will know that God cares for them and loves them.

No permission

Unfortantely the major in Lozova did not sign the paper for the building permission. He is first going to collect the public opion and after that he will take a desicion. Basicly it means that it will take a long time before any paper will get signed.... Please pray for wisdom as we now have to decide how we will proceed.

Helaas heeft de burgemeester in Lozova ook dit keer de papieren voor de toestemming om te bouwen, niet ondertekent. Hij wil eerst kijken wat de publieke opinie is en daarna wil hij pas een besluit nemen. Kortom, het kan nog heel lang duren voordat er ook maar 1 papiertje getekend gaat worden.... We willen jullie vragen om te bidden voor wijsheid om te weten hoe we nu verder moeten gaan.

New family members;)

We have been living around 2,5 years in the village Micleuseni and we/ I have tried to not become a "real" village family with animals around the house. But when the boys moved in with us they brought their dog with them. So yes, not much I could do against having animals. After that the aunt of the boys gave Marin a rooster and a chicken. Despite my resistance the birds came home. And last week again no escape, Spiridon and I received both a very special present. May I present our latest additions to our Moldovan family:

As soon as we let the chicken and the rooster free near our house, the chicken ran away and  has not been seen since then. After a week also the rooster was not seen anymore....

Lozova - construction / bouw

We want to thank all of you who have been praying for the permission to build on the piece of land in Lozova. Although it is moving very slowly, there is still movement in the proces! Spiridon has continued in the last weeks to collect papers that are needed to get the permission. At the moment we have to collect 7 signatures of different agencies (local major, firestation, health department etc.). Last Friday the major did not want to sign and told Spiridon to come back on Monday. So let's pray that coming Monday the major will sign the paper and with his signature, most likely the other 6 agencies will sign also. Please continue to pray for the building plans in Lozova.

We willen iedereen bedanken die heeft mee gebeden voor de bouwvergunning voor het stuk land in Lozova. Alhoewel het erg langzaam gaat, zit er nog wel steeds beweging in het proces! Spiridon heeft in de laatste weken verschillende papieren geregeld die nodig zijn om een vergunning te krijgen. Op dit moment moeten we 7 handtekeningen verzamelen van verschillende instanties (de burgemeester, de brandweer, de gezondheidszorg etc.). Vorige week vrijdag wilde de burgemeester niet tekenen en zei dat Spiridon op maandag maar moest terugkomen. Laten we bidden dat inderdaad aankomende maandag de burgemeester zijn handtekening zal zetten want als zijn handtekening gezet is dan is het zeer waarschijnlijk dat de andere 6 instanties ook zullen tekenen. Laten we blijven bidden voor de bouwplannen in Lozova.

6 maart

Zoals we al verwacht hadden, waren de vrouwen in grote getallen gekomen naar de bijeenkomst. Rond 15 uur waren er ongeveer 200 vrouwen (en enkele mannen) en ruim 50 kinderen aanwezig. Alle vrouwen hadden hard hun best gedaan om er pikfijn uit te zien en de sfeer was goed. De bijeenkomst startte met een hapje en een drankje en daarna was het tijd voor liederen, gedichtjes over lieve moeders, een spel, twee getuigenissen over hoe God in het leven van deze personen heeft gewerkt en het programma werd afgesloten met een preek die als thema had: hoe staat het met onze prioriteiten? Wat is belangrijk in ons leven en wat is de basis in ons leven? We hopen en bidden dat alle aanwezigen hun leven inderdaad zullen baseren op God en Hem prioriteit zullen maken in hun leven. Als aandenken kregen de vrouwen bij de uitgang nog een rode tulp en daarna ging iedereen huiswaarts.

We willen iedereen bedanken die mee gebeden en meegeleefd heeft. God heeft onze gebeden gehoord en velen zijn gekomen. We willen jullie nu vragen om te bidden dat het Woord vrucht zal dragen!

6 Maart - vrouwenbijeenkomst

Morgen om 15 uur is het zover! Er is hard gewerkt deze week en natuurlijk ook vandaag om alles op tijd klaar te krijgen. Er gaan geruchten dat er veel meer dan 100 vrouwen van plan zijn om te komen. We gaan het zien.... We bidden in ieder geval dat iedereen die komt zich welkom zal voelen en dat Gods Woord duidelijk zal klinken. Graag willen we vragen of jullie mee (blijven) bidden voor deze evangelisatie actie. Moge velen Hem leren kennen!

Fellowship in Lozova

Every Tuesday and Thursday we have two fellowship groups in Lozova. Normally we chat a bit (or a lot) from the beginning, after that we start with some songs. Than we study a chapter of the Bible and at the end we pray together that God will help us to put in practise what we have learned from the chapter. May God bless the (new) believers in Lozova!
