Today we welcomed over 130 children in the church in Micleuseni. Most of the children came from the village Micleuseni but also Huzum and Lozova were represented. Although the program started at 14 hour, some children were already present at 12 hour! But their waiting got rewarded and just a little later than 14 hour, we started the Christmas celebration. The program was filled with Christmas carols, a puppet show about "what is Christmas all about?", a prayer to thank God for the gift of Jesus, the learning of a Bible verse about Jesus birth, some games and at the end all the children received a gift: a shoe box filled with surprises! We thank the Lord for the blessed afternoon with the children and we continue to pray that the Good News of Jesus birth will not be forgotten during this time of celebration and that also in the families of the children Gods Present will be celebrated. Thank you for all your prayers and support for this afternoon.
Vandaag werden ruim 130 kinderen in de kerk in Micleuseni hartelijk ontvangen. De meeste kinderen kwamen uit het dorp Micleuseni maar ook Huzum en Lozova waren vertegenwoordigd. Ondanks het feit dat het programma om 14 uur zou starten waren sommige kinderen om 12 uur al aanwezig! Maar het wachten werd beloond en net iets na 14 uur begonnen we met de kerstviering. Het programma was gevuld met kerstliederen, een poppenkast over de vraag waar gaat het nu eigenlijk om met Kerst?, een gezamelijk gebed om de Heer te bedanken voor het allermooiste kado: de Here Jezus, een paar spelletjes en natuurlijk aan het eind een kado voor alle kinderen: een schoenendoos vol verasssingen! We danken de Heer dat Hij deze middag heeft gezegend en we bidden dat het goede nieuws dat Jezus is geboren niet vergeten zal worden tijdens de feestdagen en dat ook in de families van de kinderen Gods kado gevierd zal worden. Hartelijk dank voor al jullie gebeden en steun voor de middag.
