In the past two weeks, many different Christmas and New Years activities have taken place in the church: we started the Christmas season with the distribution of 70+ food packages to people in Lozova and about 40 packages in Vorniceni. On Christmas Eve we went Christmas caroling with a group of young people in Vorniceni, on Saturday 26 December we had a special Christmas party for children in the church in Lozova and about 100 children came. On Sunday the 27th we celebrated Christmas in the church with everyone who attended the service and the children presented a special program they had prepared. On New Year's Eve, we had a prayer meeting to thank the Lord for the past year.
And because the children have Christmas holidays now and have lost of free time, we have planned 2 afternoons of children programs this coming week for the children from Lozova and Vorniceni. In MD people celebrate Christmas also on January 7 and 8, so we will go Christmas caroling again on Wednesday evening, this time in Lozova. We hope and pray that all the activities will help people to actually celebrate the birth of our Lord at Christmas and to understand the reason why He came. We would like to ask for your prayers for everyone who has heard the Christmas Message in the past weeks.
