Nieuw jaar in MD!

Last evening many children, teenagers and youth went through the village and with different songs in which the wish you everything good for the new year, they went from house to house. In the afternoon we had different kids come and in the beginning of the evening we had several teenagers. (We closed the gates for the bigger boys cause we didn't want to have drunken trouble in our garden...). With small bells and home made instruments they accompanied their songs. So we enjoyed a real Moldovan tradition...and we entered again the new year! (this time with a lot of good wishes in our pocket...)
