Christmas in Lozova

Yesterday we celebrated during two different services the birth of Jesus, our Lord in the village Lozova. Everybody who normally attends the church was asked to invite 5 people to this special Christmas celebration. Some people had been really active in inviting people, others were more shy. But the first service started at 13 hour and the room was packed. We started the service by singing 2 Christmas songs and after that it was time for poems, more caroling and the teenagers from Lozova presented their Christmas skit. At the end of the service there was a Christmas preaching. As people left the church everybody received a Christmas present.

After a small break, at 15 hour the second service started and again we celebrated Jesus birth by singing together Christmas carols. The teenagers presented again their skit and of course again there were the different poems, the preaching and the presents.

We praise God that over 50 adults and 50 children came to the church and we continue to pray that all of them will understand that Jesus was born also for them!

Four sisters singing a Christmas carol
Andrei saying a poem
Joseph and Mary discussing where they will sleep
And look they found a place to stay;)
The pastors wondering if the angel speaking to them was a dream?
The wise (wo)men came to worship Jesus
Jesus is born for all!
