's Avonds was er een kerstconcert en ook daar veel belangstellenden die zichtbaar genoten van de kerstliederen en de warmte in de kerk;) We danken de Heer voor een gezegende dag en we bidden dat de mensen in Lozova deze kerst inderdaad de geboorte van onze Heer zullen vieren!
Yesterday we celebrated Christmas in Lozova. In the morning we had church service with various performances: children with poems, teenagers singing Christmas carols and presenting the Christmas story with a powerpoint presentation, the women's group sang also a Christmas carol and shared testimonies about how the Lord was faithful in the past year. Spiridon preached a message that encouraged everyone to come to the Lord Jesus as you are: poor/rich/young/old, etc. All the children received a present at the end of the service and this brought lots of joy of course!
In the evening there was a Christmas concert and again people showed interest and came to enjoy the Christmas songs and the warmth in the church;) We thank the Lord for a blessed day and we pray that this Christmas the people in Lozova truly will celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus!
